replicr, 2019 is the album carved from the wreckage. Forty two minutes of dread. A record that stares head on into the abyssal futures of late capitalism and refuses to blink. A melancholic, tireless soundtrack of acceleration. A feeling of frayed-nerved, time-smudged, light-speed drifting through cities built upon cities. Neon seen through rain-riddled windowpanes. replicr, 2019 is a stark, angular, stripped back slab of focussed noise. It wastes no time because there is no time left to waste.

Pure Reason Revolution originally parted ways in November 2011, following touring in support of their 2010 album Hammer & Anvil. Since then, Jon Courtney started Bullet Height and released their debut album ‘No Atonement’ in 2017, while Chloë Alper began a new band called Tiny Giant as well as playing live with the likes of Charli XCX & Jame

In tune with the album, the track combines influences of jazz, blues, R&B, and prog into Eunson’s own complex flavor of rock music.After an illustrious career as a guitarist performing and recording with acclaimed artists, including John Legend (NBC’s Christmas Tree Lighting at Rockefeller Center), Lalah Hathaway (Lalah Hathaway Live release show), Queen Latifah, Dave Chappelle (“Controlled Danger” Concert in NYC), and more, Ben Eunson is fully equipped to take his own spotlight with his distinct guitar stylings.

The “Bite My Tongue” video was shot by Matty LaBonte of Crown Media Collective. Bassist Rob Bryant says:”The main concept of the video is to not be taken over by anxiety, but to overcome, and breakthrough it. Crown Media Collective did a fantastic job on the video. They were able to purge the anxiety concept well with the static televisions placed around us.”Desolate immediately bursts into a brutal assault of fast-paced grooves on the album’s opener, “ESC”

The launch date lines up with Julien’s Auctions tribute to one of the most influential heavy metal heroes and forefathers of headbanging music with the “Property from the Estate of Ronnie James Dio” auction, live at the Hard Rock Café in New York today, September 14 and Saturday, September 15.
